Early Childhood and Care Education (ECCE)
Early Childhood and Care Education (ECCE) project aims to increase access to safe and quality early education through establishing and operating ten kindergartens in the governorates of Idlib & Aleppo. It accommodates 2,000 kids (boys & girls aged 3 to 5 years old) and holding bi-weekly awareness sessions targeting 2,000 beneficiaries (mothers & caregivers). The project secures 173 job opportunities for teachers and education personnel. Project life cycle is 12 months from October 2017 – to September 2018.
Save my Right to Education
Save my Right to Education project aims to improve access for girls/boys to equitable education and learning opportunities. And to improve quality and relevance of formal and non-formal education within a protective environment.
“Self-learning program begins with Back-to-Learning (BTL) campaigns (includes: Designing and Printing of visibility materials, brochures, banners and posters ,Door to Door , Mobile team , Open day ,awareness sessions ). Rehabilitating and beautifying classrooms (Rehabilitation of classrooms Doors, Windows, beautifying centers painting and drawing on walls with age-appropriate designs). Provision for Self-learning kit with conducting PSS sessions and recreational activities and develop referral pathways, particularly for survivors or at risk children.
Child Protection - Education
Community-based child protection and education services for conflict affected children in south and central Syria
The provision of non-formal education to 1,400 Out Of School Children (OOSC) and supporting 100 learners with disabilities through in-house visits in Afrin and Jandairis cities in Afrin district. Project includes: – provision of back-to-learning campaigns, – minor rehabilitation for 32 classrooms, – Distribution of UNICEF SLP textbooks. – Providing stationery and school bags for school-aged boys and girls, – Training Teachers, Education Supervisors and PSS animators and supervisors.
“I LEARN” is a self-learning, non-formal education project that aims to provide education programs for boys and girls at the ages of 6 – 10 years old, through simple, innovative and easy-to-use tools and materials. The project is targeting children with different circumstances, whether they have never enrolled in primary schools, they are officially enrolled but absent (for specific reasons), or were 1 – 3 years behind their peers. The I LEARN project is meant to equip and provide those children with sufficient tools and skills for them to be able to continue their education despite all the occurring obstacles.

“Designing, implementing and distributing a full Education Awareness Kit within 100 operating schools and temporary schools in high IDPs rural areas. These 6 suggested topics will be published through 6 main materials/methods:
1- School broadcast station (Whisperer).
3- Student Notebook.
4- Built-in Notice/Communication Board.
5- Monthly short story (leaflet).
6- Monthly awareness flyer. (with empty timetable in the back side). ”
